2009 Vic Uni Industry Day

I asked the design studio to create a poster for the Industry Preparedness day that I organise for graduating students. They started the poster, choosing these great fonts, but unfortunately had too much on to finished it. So I finished it with a rather cheeky Constructivist rendition of myself

20th Wedding Invite

Here is my 20th Wedding Invite I designed in 1920s style. I think it came up quite nicely.

CirceFilms DVD Cover for doco "Margaret Fulton"

CirceFilms asked me to design the cover for this documentary they produced on Margaret Fulton. Unfortunately, shortly after finishing the design, which the client was very happy with, they found a distributor who announced they would complete the design inhouse. I still like it enough to put it here.

Feature Article "Balibo" SE55

I designed this article to use the same style as the poster, actually using the title font. I love the torn edge, old paper look which is simply done by using samples of old paper, bringing them through the image in photoshop, quite effective. As usual, I have pushed the colours and contrast to make the images more dynamic and dramatic.

Feature Article SE54 "Samson and Deliah"

Here is the Feature Article spread I have just designed for Screen Education 54 on the new Australian feature Samson and Deliah. I used textures from an old book to give the picture its texture, also pumping up the contrast and brightness to saturate the images, I love this technique. The headline text I created with the same textures in photoshop and brought in. Am pretty happy with the results. I can't wait to see this new Aussie Flick.

Walking With Dinosaurs World Tour

This was the original concept I presented to the client, which in some ways I find simpler, but can understand why the client wanted more dinosaurs in the poster.

This is the finished A0 poster design accepted by the client to be used around the world for this massive exhibition of life-sized animatronic walking dinosaurs, created here in Melbourne
